Previewing Bears vs Dolphins with Phin Phanatic
Chicago Bears
5. Give me one under the radar player on each side of the ball who Bears fans might now know who will have an impact on Sunday’s game?
Defensively Xavien Howard is the man that the Bears will need to contend with he is really developing into a shutdown corner and can play everywhere. I would also say that rookie Minkah Fitzpatrick can create mismatches because he is disguised in coverages and can play everywhere from safety to linebacker.
Offensively, Jakeem Grant is really the one to watch. He has incredible speed and the Dolphins try and get him the ball on the edge a lot. If the Dolphins get Grant moving they will have a good chance of getting long drives.
Bonus question – what’s your prediction for Sunday’s game? Please include a brief synopsis and a final score.
I predict this game will go like the other Dolphins games. A slow offensive start with the defense keeping it close up front. Miami has been really good in the 2nd half for three of the five games this season and I suspect that if the game is close the Dolphins defense could have the edge but and there is always a but, I don’t think that it will be all that close heading into quarter four. The Bears defense is really good and I think that pressure on Tannehill will keep the ball in the Bears hands to the point the Dolphins defense wears down.
Overall I think the game will end with the Bears coming out on top 28 to 17.
