1. Pressure Tom Brady

Pressuring the quarterback has become a common theme in every ‘Keys To Victory’ article this season. And with arguably the greatest quarterback coming to town on Sunday, that shouldn’t change.

History shows that teams who can consistently pressure Tom Brady have a shot at beating him. In the three Super Bowl losses that Brady has in his career, a relentless pass rush by the opposing team is what made the difference between winning and losing. In six games this season, Brady has taken just eight sacks. Six of those came through the first three weeks of the season and in the last three games, Brady has been sacked just twice.

This means that on Sunday, the Bears front seven will have their hands full trying to break down the Patriots offense. Considering the Bears totaled zero sacks in week six against Miami,

However, if Bill Belichick and co. see that the Bears front seven is winning the battle, then they’ll make halftime adjustments. Even at that point, the Bears must continue to be aggressive and blitz to break down the Patriots offensive line.

Last time the Bears played the Patriots in 2014, a lack of pass rush is what was one of the many reasons the Bears were blown out. If the Bears want to have any chance at beating the Patriots, then it all starts with getting after Tom Brady.
