Week 7 provides the Chicago Bears an opportunity to make a statement in the NFL. Here are three reasons why they’ll prevail.

The New England Patriots will visit the Chicago Bears for the first time since 2010. The Patriots usually have no issues taking care of the Monsters of The Midway, as they’ve dispatched them on nine out of thirteen occasions.

This time around, the Bears look much more ready to compete. Tom Brady is closer to the back-nine of his career but the Bears will have no reservations in their pursuit of the future Hall of Fame quarterback.

Sunday’s matchup will be yet another big test for both Mitch Trubisky and first-year head coach Matt Nagy. Trubisky is battling one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time while Nagy is challenged with keeping pace with one of the best coaches of any generation, Bill Belichick.

There are minor injury details coming from both camps, as acclaimed pass rusher, Khalil Mack battles an ankle injury. The Patriots already had some concern with their offensive line before veteran tackle, Marcus Cannon’s name showed up on the injury report.

The Patriots appear to be the early favorites in this rare clash but here are three reasons why it will be the Chicago Bears who emerge victorious at the conclusion of this one.
