Mitchell Trubisky’s streak of three 300-yard passing games came to a halt versus the Jets. However, the second-year quarterback did manage to throw for 220 yards and two touchdowns, despite his erratic play. Trubisky started the first half cold, completing just five of 13 pass attempts, but came back in the second half to connect on 11 of 16 pass attempts. The 24-year-old is still missing open targets with good pass protection, and sometimes making bad decisions when throwing into double coverage. At least he didn’t turn the ball over. Trubisky also rushed for 51 yards on the afternoon.
