The inactivity of No.1 receiver Allen Robinson II, due to a groin injury, may have played a part in the lack of productivity by Chicago’s wide receivers. Both Taylor Gabriel and Josh Bellamy caught for ball each for 52 and 37 yards respectively, while rookie Anthony Miller had three receptions for 37 yards and a touchdown. Yardage-wise, tight end Trey Burton had his least productive day since Week 1, grabbing three balls for just 18 yards.

Although their receiving yards doesn’t reflect it, Chicago’s pass catchers did play instrumental parts in blocking for other ball carriers—this was clearly evident with Gabriel’s downfield block during Cohen’s 70-yard touchdown scamper.
