Starting guard Eric Kush was ruled out with a neck injury, and rookie James Daniels stepped in and didn’t miss a beat. Trubisky was sacked just two times, but was given good protection for most of the afternoon. Behind the offensive front, Chicago’s running backs rushed for a total of 121 yards and a touchdown—as a team the offense totaled 179 yards.
