Chicago’s offensive line did a solid job protecting Trubisky, surrendering only one sack on the afternoon. Not including the kneel-downs by Chase Daniel, the offensive front had a rough time paving the way for the running game against Buffalo’s stout defensive front, averaging 3.1 yards per carry. Left tackle Charles Leno Jr. was guilty of three false start penalties, and rookie guard James Daniels was flagged for a holding call that negated a Cohen first down run.
