Green Bay Packers (3-4-1)

Remaining schedule:

Things are not so rosy in Cheeseland.  The Packers offense has been inconsistent as Aaron Rodgers has been nursing a knee injury since the first half of the season opener against the Bears.  There’s some discord between Rodgers and head coach Mike McCarthy, who is on the hot seat if the Packers miss the playoffs for another season.

The Packers should be able to get a win when the Dolphins roll up to the frozen tundra this weekend, but then the Packers have a quick turnaround to head to Seattle to play on Thursday night.  Even though the Seahawks struggled early, they’re tough at home and have improved in recent weeks.  I’ll chalk that up as a loss for the Packers.

The Packers will head to Minnesota to face a Vikings team that has been steadily improving since their tie with the Packers in Week 2.  The Packers get a couple of home games hosting the Cardinals and Falcons.  I think the Cardinals should be a win, but I’m 50/50 on the Falcons.  I’ll give the Packers the nod at home with a dome team coming to Green Bay in December.

The Packers head to Soldier Field in Week 15 for a rematch of Week 1, where it took an Aaron Rodgers miracle to bail out the Packers.  Not again.  The Bears will pull off a win.

The Packers head to New York to face the Jets; chalk that up as a W.  The Packers finish up the season hosting the Lions, which should be another win.  If my math is right, the Packers go 5-3 down the stretch, but it’s not enough to pull off another Rodgers miracle.

Predicted Finish: 8-7-1
