After a big win over the Buffalo Bills in week nine on the road, the Chicago Bears are slowly looking like playoff contenders. Now, a pivotal three-game stretch is upon the Chicago Bears, which will define the Chicago Bears 2018 regular season.

The next three games are critical for the Chicago Bears as they’ll play division opponents. The formula for getting into the playoffs in the NFL is simple. First, a team must have a winning record in their division and then have an overall winning record against opponents within the same conference. In 2017, the Bears compiled a record of 0-6 versus NFC North opponents. In fact, in the last ten games against the Lions, the Bears are just 1-9, dating back to 2013. While the Bears are winless against NFC North opponents this year, they’ve only played one game so far: Week One against the Green Bay Packers.

Each week, we’ll be previewing the Bears regular season matchup. Additionally, we’ll examine what the Bears must do to win. What are the key players on the opposing team that the Bears will need to stop? Each week, will the offense or defense make a bigger impact?
