3. Get Jordan Howard Involved More

Last week against the Bills, Jordan Howard had two touchdowns and 14 carries for 47 total rushing yards. While it wasn’t exactly a top-tier performance, Jordan Howard proved that he can be effective and make plays when needed. And for fans and Jordan Howard fantasy owners that are still waiting for his big breakout game in 2018, the time may have finally arrived.

The Lions have allowed 5.1 rush yards against opponents this season and six total rushing touchdowns. In four of their five losses, they’ve allowed more than 150 or more yards four times.

The good thing about Matt Nagy’s offense is that Jordan Howard can either run between the tackles or he can run outside, following guards and tackles who will be his lead blockers.

Last week, Howard had four runs of ten or more yards. His longest run of the day went for 18 yards. Against a Detroit Lions defense that is built to stop the run, but has not been able to do so in an effective manner this season, using Jordan Howard heavily could mean good things for the Bears.
