Yes, Matt Nagy and his staff put their team in place to win another game that they were expected to win. The only headscratcher in their approach was the lack of their running game. As mentioned before, Howard had only 11 carries against the Lions’ porous run defense. In Howard’s career, he’s averaged 89.8 yards per game against Detroit. And with the cold weather and a commanding lead, one would think that running the ball would be a necessity. A strong running game is much-needed in the Windy City at this time of the season. Let’s hope Nagy gets Howard rolling soon.
