Defensive Line

Unlike Chicago’s offensive front, the Bears’ defensive line had much control of the line of scrimmage. Detroit was held to just 76 yards rushing (3.2 yards per carry), and didn’t have much going in the passing game due to Chicago’s pressure. Eddie Goldman had four tackles and a tackle-for-loss, while rookie Bilal Nichols recorded a sack and was credited with a forced fumble.
