3. Bryce Callahan

There is a small circle who prop up the name of Bryce Callahan, but in the overall scheme of the NFL, he is underrated. The NFL has changed over the past few years. It is not hard to see that now.

With new rules emphasized, the middle of the field is much more open than it used to be. This makes life a lot easier for the quick and shifty slot wide receivers. This also makes the value of slot cornerbacks who can defend those players even more important. In that, Bryce Callahan is one of the best.

On Sunday, against the Detroit Lions Bryce Callahan had an interception, a tackle for loss and a sack. He impacted the pass as a rusher and defender and impacted the running game. This is a player who is making plays in all areas.

He has two sacks this year and is excellent in timing blitzes off of the edge. He also has four tackles for loss, two interceptions, and four quarterback hits. Wherever they need him, he will be there. Callahan still goes completely underrated, and if he can continue to grow on this year, the Bears ceiling remains very high.
