1. Minnesota’s Offensive Line

If the image featured above doesn’t intimidate Mike Zimmer and the offensive line staff enough, they’ll take no solace in being the 29th ranked unit overall.

After missing two games due to a high ankle sprain, Khalil Mack returned to face Detroit Lions in week nine, and he returned in a big way. Mack tallied four tackles with two sacks on the day. His return appeared to spark the rest of the Bears’ defense as a plethora of players made impact plays.

The Vikings will have to face perhaps the best defensive unit they’ve seen all season, which may not bode well for the offensive line, but more specifically, Kirk Cousins. The Vikings have allowed 24 sacks this season which isn’t horrendous, but that total could see a spike with the Bears’ defense playing the way it is.

Minnesota’s current guards are Tom Compton and Mike Remmers, who will be matched up against Eddie Goldman and Akiem Hicks all game. Yikes. Rashod Hill and Riley Reiff have been inconsistent all year and will be facing a formidable pass rush headlined by Khalil Mack. After finally getting his first sack and three total pressures, Leonard Floyd’s confidence has to have been boosted; making this pass rush even more potent.

The Los Angeles Rams were supposed to be the dominant defense of 2018. If my Rams’ defense production in my fantasy league is any indication, they most certainly are not. The Chicago Bears’ defense rank in the top five in almost every defensive metric in football. The Minnesota Vikings and that offensive line are in for a tough night.
