The Chicago Bears have a chance to take advantage of the Minnesota Vikings offensive line
The Minnesota Vikings have some of the best skill players in the NFL. With Kirk Cousins added to Adam Thielen, Stefon Diggs, Kyle Rudolph and Dalvin Cook, who can stop the Minnesota Vikings?
Sure, Cook has been hurt, but even Latavius Murray and Laquon Treadwell highlight depth. However, somehow they rank 17th overall in offensive efficiency. Some of it has to do with Cook, and an inability to establish the run. However, most of that and the passing game issues come down to their offensive line.
Kirk Cousins has taken 24 sacks this season. When looking at who takes the majority of the fault for these sacks, the blame can go around.

Starting right tackle Rashod Hill let up four sacks. Left tackle Riley Reiff has allowed 3.5 Right guard Mike Remmers and center Pat Elflein have allowed two sacks. Tom Compton has typically started at left guard, but did miss last week. He has allowed four sacks this season. While it would be tough for the backup to do much worse, Danny Isidora did allow a sack in his limited time playing.
Tom Compton is expected to play, but think about that. The Minnesota Vikings line is getting a boost if Tom Compton plays? The Chicago Bears let Tom Compton walk this week. They are not strong at guard right now but knew they could get by without Tom Compton.
With Compton in the lineup, three starters will have allowed 11.5 sacks. 7.5 of those have come on the left side of the line. Four have come against the right tackle.
The way in which Vic Fangio has moved Leonard Floyd, Khalil Mack and Akiem Hicks around, it sets up for him to put each on the Vikings weak spots.
