Chicago’s secondary was responsible for two of the team’s three takeaways. Adrian Amos picked off Kirk Cousins, stopping Minnesota from scoring right before halftime. Eddie Jackson recorded the Bears’ second interception and returned it 27 yards for a touchdown. Kyle Fuller broke up two passes, and Prince Amukamara had a team-high eight tackles. However, Amukamara did get beat on a touchdown in the red zone in the fourth quarter, which kept the Vikings in the game in the waning minutes. Minnesota’s dynamic receiving duo of Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs combined for 20 catches for 192 yards and a touchdown.
