The Chicago Bears select quarterback DeShone Kizer.

As the second round gets underway, Ryan Pace knows that he can’t go into the season with Glennon and Mark Sanchez. He needs a young QB to groom and Kizer is the best man available.

Pace considers holding off on selecting a quarterback because he loves this kid Adam Shaheen, a tight end out of Ashland, and then he could roll the dice on taking Nathan Peterman later, but he decides the drop off after Kizer is too great and he selects the Notre Dame prospect in hoping that the QB develops into a quality signal caller.
