The Chicago Bears got put in a tough spot due to their schedule. Will this be an issue against the Detroit Lions on Thursday?

Matt Nagy left his press conference on Sunday night saying that he would not even get the chance to watch and review the game that he just coached. No, he had 84 hours to get his team prepared for a game on Thursday afternoon at his division rival Detroit Lions.

This is almost unheard of when it comes to the NFL. Before the season started, this was unheard of, and certainly something that schedule makers did not have in mind. Remember, the original plan was for Bears and Vikings to kick off at noon central time.

The Jacksonville Jaguars being surprisingly bad and the Chicago Bears being surprisingly good put the NFL in a tough spot. While the prime time lights brought out the best in the Bears on Sunday, it could hurt the team on Thursday.

On top of that, the Bears are coming off of a hard fought division win against the Vikings, and beat the Lions just two weeks ago. Sunday will be a true test for the Chicago Bears. We will just how prepared this team is from a mental and physical point of view after being put in a tough situation.
