Chase Daniel proved to be the consummate example of a backup quarterback on Thanksgiving Day. Starting in only his third game in his 10-year career, Daniel completed 27 of 37 passes for 230 yards, two touchdowns, and zero interceptions. The 32-year-old spread the ball very well, hitting seven different receivers. Daniel also caught a pass for eight yards, and could’ve had another touchdown pass had he not over thrown his target in the end zone during the second quarter.
