Executive of the year: Ryan Pace

Khalil Mack is in the running for defensive player of the year. Matt Nagy is going to get noise for coach of the year. Both of those people were brought in because of Ryan Pace. Put all of that together, and Pace has an excellent chance to win executive of the year.

Look at this team. Allen Robinson, Taylor Gabriel and Trey Burton were all brought in from the outside. Tarik Cohen, Mitch Trubisky and Eddie Jackson are enduring second-year breakouts with the newly hired head coach.

This draft featured Roquan Smith, James Daniels, Anthony Miller, and Bilal Nichols. Those four have worked their way into being starters on a playoff team as rookies, Nichols being the biggest eye-raiser.

He brought back Kyle Fuller and extended Eddie Goldman. Ryan Pace assembled this team and kept it together. He made the right calls to put everything in the right place.

John Dorsey drafted Patrick Mahomes, and he works for the Browns now, so that draft pick will not be praised with an award. Les Snead did a great job with the Rams, but his big move was last season. As mentioned, the defense still has issues.

Chris Ballard drafted Quenton Nelson, an offensive rookie of the year candidate and Darius Leonard, a defensive rookie of the year candidate. However, like Reich, the Bears record could edge that out. There is a good chance that Ryan Pace will win Executive of the Year, and he indeed will be nominated along with Snead and Ballard.
