9. Adrian Amos

The best quality of Adrian Amos is his availability. He leads the defense in snaps played, putting in 99% of the Chicago Bears snaps. Amos has a sack, a tackle for loss and a quarterback hit. He also has two interceptions, six passes defended and a fumble recovery.

Amos is allowing 6.8 yards per target and a 73 passer rating. The Pro Football Focus darling Amos has taken a back seat to Eddie Jackson, who is the highest graded safety this season. Still, Amos ranks 19th in the grading.

Jackson is the playmaker, but it is the stability of Amos that makes him valuable. He is in the right spot more often than not. Adrian Amos can play deep against the pass and down in the box against the run. His versatility, understanding, and consistency allow others to make plays, while he keeps everything in line and takes advantage of mistakes.

It is a valuable role that is relied on. However, it still has him as the ninth most valuable asset on the defense.
