There wasn’t much Akiem Hicks didn’t do on Sunday. Hicks registered his fifth sack of the season to go along with six total tackles and two QB hits.

Hicks made an important stop on third down when the Giants were on the goal line that really demonstrated his physical prowess. The pass rush wasn’t as consistent as it has been this season, but Akiem Hicks and the rest of the front seven did enough to hold Eli Manning to under 200 yards and a 65.2 passer rating.

If Hicks wasn’t busy stuffing Giants’ running backs at the line of scrimmage, you might have seen him recreating the William “Refrigerator” Perry’s Super Bowl touchdown. In the second quarter of a 7-7 game, Matt Nagy continued to pay homage to Bears’ history but lining up No. 96 in the backfield right next to Jordan Howard.

Chase Daniel would hike the ball and immediately turn to Hicks, who would use his 6’6, 325 pounds frame to do the rest.

Akiem Hicks was a heavy contributor on both sides of the football and he continues to elevate his play each season with the organization.
