Austin Blythe and Rodger Saffold

Everyone seems to respect the Los Angeles Rams, but typically only mention Andrew Whitworth as the high-quality player of the group. Do not get me wrong, Whitworth is the heart and soul of the unit.

However, that takes away from Austin Blythe and Rodger Saffold who have done great things inside to help this team. Blythe has been fantastic this season. He ranks fourth amongst guards via PFF rankings.

Blythe has yet to allow a single sack and has only been called for one holding penalty. Statistically, he has been more sound than Andrew Whitworth.

Saffold is more known of the two and is coming off of a second-team All-Pro year. However, he is still is a bit underrated. He has allowed two sacks and had a couple of penalties to his name this year. Still, PFF has him 13th in the NFL as well.

The Rams can protect the quarterback and run the ball, and these two have a lot to do with it.
