Keys To Victory: Chicago Bears Face Major Test

3. Use Speed to Beat the Los Angeles Defense
Aaron Donald, Ndamukong Suh, Marcus Peters, Aqib Talib, Lamarcus Joyner, and Dante Fowler Jr. The Los Angeles Rams are loaded with starpower on the defensive side of the football.
It’s no secret that the Rams have as good as a front seven as the Bears do. What Mitchell Trubisky needs to do is get the ball out quickly in order to avoid being sacked. The good news for Bears is that Trubisky is athletic and has used his skillset (mainly his scrambling ability) to escape the pocket in the past and extend plays.
As good as Tarik Cohen was against the New York Giants, the Bears will need to utilize Cohen’s speed if they want to beat the Rams. However, once the Rams see that the Bears are using Cohen in a versatile manner, Mitchell Trubisky will need to get the ball to other players such as Taylor Gabriel and Anthony Miller.
Taylor Gabriel has run crossing routes, getting the ball in open space and then turning short passes into long gains. Anthony Miller, on the other hand, has been used in multiple offensive formations and has made plays for the Bears when the offense has needed it most. It’s more than likely that we’ll see Anthony Miller get more targets in a game that could go down to the wire.
