With the inconsistency of Trubisky, Chicago’s pass catchers couldn’t make much of an impact in the air attack. Allen Robinson II led all Bears receivers with five catches for 42 yards. Taylor Gabriel was targeted seven times, but only managed to reel in three balls for 22 yards. Tight end Trey Burton also had 22 yards of his own on just two receptions. Robinson, however, committed two costly penalties in the red zone during the second quarter, resulting the offense to settle for a field goal.
