Chicago’s defense shined the entire game, and it all started up front. The Bears’ defensive line controlled the line of scrimmage, helping the defense limit Todd Gurley II, the league’s leading rusher coming into Week 14, to just 28 yards on the ground. In addition, the D-line kept constant pressure on Rams quarterback Jared Goff. Akiem Hicks tallied three tackles and a sack, while Eddie Goldman recorded a sack that scored as a safety in the third quarter.
