5. Score Prediction And Conclusion

Although they have a playoff spot locked up, the Bears must still continue to have a winning mindset and build momentum as they continue to head into the playoffs. Much like the New York Giants back in week 13, the Bears cannot underestimate the 49ers. Although they are 4-10, the 49ers still have shown flashes of being able to compete with some good teams. Additionally, San Francisco just boosted its confidence by beating their division-rival Seattle Seahawks. It’s critical that the Bears come away with a victory in this game as it could have playoff implications in terms of seeding. If the Bears offense can be consistent and feed off of what the special teams provides, then the Bears have a chance to win their 11th game of the season. The Bears will also need to get after Nick Mullens and stop him from going through his progressions properly as Mullens will throw to the first open wide receiver that he sees. With solid play on both sides of the ball, the Bears will have a chance to head into the playoffs with some major momentum and the confidence that they can matchup against anyone. Score: Bears 27, 49ers 10
