5. Score Prediction And Conclusion

As Soldier Field gets ready to host its first playoff game in nearly eight years, the Bears are ready to prove to the rest of the NFL that they belong in Super Bowl conversation.

All throughout 2018, Matt Nagy has preached that the Bears need to just take everything “one game at a time”. When the Eagles come to town, they are set out to prove that they have everything it takes to hopefully get back to the Super Bowl. Even a Wild Card game in the NFL is far more intense than a regular season game.

Due to the toughness with which the Bears have played all year, they have a chance to really prove themselves against the Eagles. If the Bears defense can get after Nick Foles, shut down the Eagles offensive playmakers, and create turnovers, it will put the Bears offense in a position to get Jordan Howard going and establish an early lead in the first half. In the second half, the Bears will need to protect any potential lead that is built.

This is how this team has won games in 2018: establish a lead and hold onto it in the second half. If the Bears can do this, then they’ll be headed to Los Angeles for a showdown with the Rams. Score: Bears 24, Eagles 14
