Leonard Floyd

Year three was a make or break year for Leonard Floyd. Coming in with a broken hand and no sacks through six games, it was starting to feel like a break of a year for the third year player from Georgia. However, as he got his cast off, and filled his role in the defense the stats started to come, and Floyd became a key piece to the defense.

He finished the regular season with four sacks, nine tackles for loss and 11 hits. It was not his best year, but when adding in his contain roles in pass rushing, and his coverage abilities it tends to pay off.

On Sunday, he was the only player to see his pass rush pay off as he turned in the only sack of the game. It came on the first drive of the game and forced the Eagles into three points. While more were expected to come from there, Floyd also had three tackles and put together a much better end to his season than start.
