Josh Bellamy

This one is the most unexpected of all. At the beginning of the season, we questioned what role Josh Bellamy had on the team. He was on the chopping block to get cut and barely skated by as a depth player.

However, he slowly but surely kept his role and stayed with the group. Then, the team made Javon Wims and Kevin White inactive, ensuring that Bellamy would see a decent role.

Bellamy hauled in one catch for 34 yards. It was not game-changing stats, but he made a splash play when he needed to. Bellamy also had an active day as a blocker on screens. He put his hard hat on and made the tough plays that the team did not want White or Wims to make.

Moving forward Josh Bellamy is going to stick around. He plays special teams, he blocks, and he gets open down the field. Does he drop a pass or two? Yes, that is why he is a lower depth player. Still, he is a lower depth player that the Bears will keep and one that exceeded expectations all season.
