Kyle Fuller had a tough day for the Chicago Bears in their loss to the Philadelphia Eagles
Kyle Fuller had an excellent season. He put together a career high in interceptions and earned an All-Pro for his regular season. Unfortunately for him he did not have a strong showing in the post season.
The Eagles were on a mission to target the All-Pro early into the game. They connected down the field with Zach Ertz and Alshon Jeffrey matched up against Fuller early into the game which led to a field goal.
By the end of the game Kyle Fuller had given up five receptions that all went for first downs. Jeffrey pulled in two, Ertz picked up two first downs on him and Nelson Agholor hauled in another.

Some of this likely had to do with no Eddie Jackson. Without the ballhawk at free safety, the cornerbacks were less likely to jump routes, knowing that they did not have the same type of back end help. You could tell in a lot those situations that Fuller was giving more cushion than he should have.
The postseason performance is not a definition of his season or who he is, but it is going to sting and everyone does always remember what you did last. Kyle Fuller will certainly have plenty of time to lick his wounds and comeback next season even more energized to have a bigger season.
At the end of the day Kyle Fuller picked a bad day to have his worst game and the Eagles were right there to go after him.
