3. Todd Gurley
A lot of people would like to see Todd Gurley get taken here. However, it is tough to see the Rams winning playoff games with C.J. Anderson and not Todd Gurley and think that Gurley would have been worth the number seven overall pick. Of course, in comparison to Kevin White, any impact he could give would have been huge.
On top of that, the ability that Gurley brings to the passing game would have been a great help for Matt Nagy and the development of Mitch Trubisky. The dup of Jordan Howard and Tarik Cohen is great. However, when Howard is on the field, the team sways to running the ball. With Cohen, it is more likely to be a pass.
With Todd Gurley, he can catch, run and block. In that regard, he is an upgrade. Some honorable mentions include David Johnson, who would explode in the Matt Nagy passing attack or Landon Collins, who would present a step up from Adrian Amos.
