1. Byron Jones

It was a tough debate between Cooper and Byron Jones for the number six overall pick, so it seems pretty clear that he checks in as the seventh best player from this class. Byron Jones was drafted in the late first round by Dallas based on his athleticism. He moved from safety to cornerback as the Cowboys learned how to use him.

Last year he was an elite cornerback for the Cowboys. Kyle Fuller was a first-team All-Pro player. Byron Jones was on the second team.

Prince Amukamara has been great, but the ability to have two young, athletic and elite cornerbacks at the position for the foreseeable future would be insane value. If the Bears strictly took the best player off of the board at this point, it would be Byron Jones.
