Kevin White, WR, West Virginia, Round 1, 7th overall

Grade: F

It’s tough to blame Ryan Pace for the heap of injuries that piled upon Kevin White, but you certainly can’t give him a pass either. White played five games in three years and while he finally stayed healthy this season, he showed that other than blocking, he didn’t provide much to the team and found himself inactive for several games.

Perhaps White’s injuries are to blame for his lack of productivity this year on offense, or perhaps he just didn’t have what it takes to be a legitimate weapon for an NFL team. Regardless it’s obvious that White has played his last game in Chicago.

You would have to expect White to bounce around on a couple more teams before his NFL career comes to a close but it’s hard to imagine that he ever makes a legitimate impact on an NFL roster.

White’s career highlight is the near successful hail mary the Bears had this season against the New England Patriots. In fact, that’s probably White’s only highlight.
