4. Trade Jordan Howard

Jordan Howard has become one of the more popular players on the Bears’ roster, but all good things must come to an end and it appears this is the offseason when it will.

Howard is coming off the worst season of his career. He struggled to ever get in his groove in Matt Nagy’s offense. Some critics say that Howard doesn’t fit in Nagy’s offense and it would never work. Howard supporters say that Nagy didn’t do the right things to make it work with Howard.

Regardless of whether you want to blame Howard’s skill set or Nagy’s offense, Howard in Chicago no longer works. Coming off his performance this season, the fact that Howard struggles in the passing game and that he only has one year left on his contract, Howard’s return value won’t be much.

If the Bears can get a 5th round pick for Howard, consider that a success. Perhaps they can kick in a sweetener and get a 4th round pick for Howard, but if Pace can’t manage that, there is even a chance that Howard would only return a 6th round pick.
