Chicago Bears: 5 offseason needs
What are the five positions the Chicago Bears should look to address this offseason?
As the Chicago Bears head into the offseason, they will be bringing back most of the core group of players that they had from last years run. With that in mind, this is a team with just a few needs. However, as the team stands, there are a few spots they could look into to upgrade the position.
What are the Chicago Bears five biggest needs
Guard
On paper, this may not be the biggest need, but it is going to be a position that this team wants to address now and moving forward. They did so last season in drafting James Daniels in the second round to replace Josh Sitton. Now, they have to start to worry about Kyle Long.
Long has started 25 games in the past three seasons. Not great. He started eight games last year and is now over 30 years old. Long is going to come back next season and likely is going to start.
However, do not be surprised if this team drafts guard heavily to try to find a gem or two to fill in with his injury concerns, and with eyes on the future.
