The Chicago Bears hosted the Penn State running back after meeting with him at the NFL combine

If there has been one running back has consistently been tied to the Chicago Bears throughout draft season it is Miles Sanders. Sanders is the back most equipped to fill the role that Matt Nagy is looking for-as he described it. Therefore, it is less surprising, and more understandable that the Bears would be so connected to the Penn State running back.

This week, in the midst of free agency the team hosted Miles Sanders in Chicago, using one of their 30 pre-draft visits on him.

As noted in the tweet, the Chicago Bears also met with Sanders at the combine. Dating before that Mel Kiper noted that Sanders is a player that Bears fans need to watch at the combine. He had heard the two had been connected since well before the combine.

So, lets connect the dots. On video, Miles Sanders is a great fit. Mel Kiper said that they were interested. They met him at the combine then brought him into Chicago to work him out. It is clear this team has their eyes pinned to Miles Sanders.

The question with Sanders is whether or not he will be available in the third round. Before the combine everyone believed this to be the case, but no so much anymore. Sanders proved to be one of the more athletic backs in the group.

Still, Ryan Pace has the chance to trade Jordan Howard, which will help them acquire more draft capital. Potentially to seal the deal and bring in Miles Sanders.
