3. Jordan Richards
The Chicago Bears did not tender DeAndre Houston-Carson. So, while they replaced Adrian Amos with HaHa Clinton-Dix they still have not completely replaced all of their spots on the depth chart. The Bears are certainly going to look at safety in the draft, as Clinton-Dix is not tied down long term.
However, they could get a low end replacement for Houston-Carson in Jordan Richards. Richards has played for the Patriots and the Falcons. Most of his work has come on special teams, but he has played in 1,008 snaps in the NFL on defense.
Richards is a safety who can slip into the box and defend slot receivers. In a pinch he could replace Buster Skrine, or Clinton-Dix and brings special teams value as a base.
Richards is going to get special teams money and after losing Josh Bellamy, they could replace him with Richards at a cheaper cost.
