4. Mike Davis

While the Chicago Bears have not moved on from Jordan Howard yet, there is a real scenario where Davis will be stepping in as a Howard replacement of sorts. He is going to get runs between the tackles and is going to add in the passing game.

The question is how much of an upgrade or downgrade is Mike Davis in this area? With only one season of a carry total over 150 it is tough to guard what exactly the Bears have in Mike Davis.

In trading Jordan Howard the Bears will save roughly $2 million. Mike Davis is getting roughly $3 million. It can be looked at as a direct replacement in terms of money.

Davis has proven that he can bang between the tackles in his short stint with the Seahawks. He also is a much improved pass catcher.

Still, it is tough to say he is an upgrade over Howard, because he is unlikely to completely fill in for Howard.  The Bears are expected to draft another running back and role with three different runners.

Still, his impact should hold better than Ted Larsen and there is much more untapped potential in Mike Davis as well.
