Our Chicago Bears best Twitter personality has reached the Final Four! Vote now!
It started with 16, but it’s been reduced to just four.
Bear Goggles On continues its March Madness tournament to determine which Chicago Bears player is king on Twitter!
After a couple close contests and a couple of blow outs the Elite 8 has been reduced to the Final Four. First, the results.
In the Jim McMahon region, Akiem Hicks annihilated Danny Trevathan 96% to 4%. What was great is that Hicks and Trevathan had a little exchange about the blowout:
You have to love that Akiem Hicks is talking trash about whooping Danny Trevathan in a best Twitter personality tournament.
In the bottom portion of the McMahon region bracket, there was a mild upset as rookie Anthony Miller took out Taylor Gabriel by a tally of 67% to 33%. Gabriel was the higher two seed, but the third seeded Miller proved too much for the veteran.
On the other side of the bracket in the Mike Ditka region, top seeded Kyle Long took down Eddie Jackson 66% to 34%. Eddie Jackson had a mild upset of Allen Robinson in the previous round. Jackson as the 5 seed in the region couldn’t pull off the upset and take down Long.
In the final Elite Eight matchup, the two seed in the Ditka region, Tarik Cohen, fended off the six seed, Mitch Trubisky by a final tally of 67% to 33%.
The Final Four in this tournament is set and it’s almost all chalk.
It’s full chalk on the right side of the bracket where the top seed Kyle Long will take on second seeded Tarik Cohen to see who wins the Ditka region.
On the left side, it’s the overall number one seed, Akiem Hicks, who will be trying to take down 3rd seeded Anthony Miller.
