Edge Rusher

Despite signing Aaron Lynch the Chicago Bears still lack depth on the edge. Entering a contract year with Leonard Floyd they also have to at least consider the future. Therefore, it is no surprise that they have worked out seven edge rushers this draft season.

It is worth noting that they did not bring any of these pass rushing options into Chicago. However, the number of players they have kicked on the tires on at this specific position shows they are prepared to draft at the spot.

Players they have looked at include Christian Miller, Oshane Ximines, Derick Roberson, Carl Granderson, Jalen Jelks, Maxx Crosby, Ronheem Bingham, and Javon Muhammad.

What is interesting to note is that Ximines, Crosby, and Miller may be players that the Bears would have to draft at 87. Some of these players have name value. So while they have not dug as deep as some other positions, they clearly have an interest and that interest could start as high as their first pick. Edge rusher is definitely a position to watch.
