Five must-watch games from Chicago Bears 2019 schedule
2. Chicago Bears at Philadelphia Eagles, November 3rd
The double doink.
It was the kick that crushed an entire city. Cody Parkey failed. he failed himself. He failed his teammates. He failed the city of Chicago.
Cody Parkey knows he failed and that’s why he’s no longer here.
Just because Parkey’s gone, doesn’t mean that every Chicago Bear player circled November 3rd on their calendar. The Bears will get their opportunity to defeat the Eagles and get their revenge.
No, defeating a team the following season in the regular season certainly isn’t going to make up for losing a playoff game, but you can bet the players won’t care on that date.
Nick Foles is gone, it’s safe to assume that Carson Wentz will be quarterbacking the Eagles that day. Without Foles Magic, can the Eagles do it again? Not if the Bears have anything to say about it.
