Which 5 players saw their stock drop the most on draft weekend?

Draft weekend is an exciting time for fans to watch their favorite players realize their dreams are coming true. It is a great feeling, but on the other end, those same players are taking jobs from current NFL athletes.

Some players watch draft weekend to see what kind of competition will be brought in for their job, or starting spot on the roster. After going through some players who survived the weekend, and could have been replaced, these are the five players who did not get through the weekend feeling comfortable about their place on the roster.

5. Taquan Mizzell

Taquqan Mizzell went from seeing snaps in a playoff game to being one of the most likely players to be cut this summer. We all kind of saw it coming after that playoff performance, though.

What that game showed was that Matt Nagy is going to use three running backs, no matter what. He loves the versatility that three backs shuffling provide.

With that in mind, he knew he not only needed to replace Jordan Howard but needed to move on from Mizzell as well. When the Bears added Mike Davis and David Montgomery, that was most of the Howard work. Kerrith Whyte and Cordarelle Patterson are the two who make life tough to Mizzell.

Whyte specifically will handle his special teams duties, and potentially his role in the offense. Whyte is a seventh-round pick, so nothing is guaranteed. However, Mizzell cannot think he has a great shot of making this roster.
