Kickers

The Chicago Bears entered the draft with three kickers, it was clear none of them were looking safe. However, the party got a lot bigger and nearly doubled this weekend. Ryan Pace and company brought in two kickers, to move the number to five.

That is a lot of kickers.

The Bears will likely use a variety of methods to weed out the weak and dwindle the list down. Nonetheless, this is going to be an intense competitiom.

While it was a Freudian slip, Ryan Pace said in his post-draft presser that he thinks they can find an answer at kicker via UDFA. Whether that means Spencer Evans or John Baron, we do not know. However, he appears to be happy with the names he brought in.

We always knew they were going to add a kicker this weekend. Adding two, and highlighting them post-draft shows what they thought of the three options they currently had on the roster. While they will have to earn it, I give a heads up to the two added today to make the roster.
