3. Kerrith Whyte has passing game value

When asked about the speed of a player such as Hall, the name Kerrith Whyte is never going to be far behind. Whyte is not a traditional running back who lowers the boom with power and intensity.  However, if he can get the ball in space, he is fast. Very fast.

Whyte has a chance to make the roster as a kick returner. However, he is showing the Chicago Bears that it is also versatility on offense that is going to give him a shot to make the cut.

One of the plays that stood out to Nagy the most this week was Whyte in the passing game. Whyte motioned into the slot, and torched the secondary into the second level running a go route over the middle of the field. Whyte hauled in the pass with ease.

Having that kind of speed and the ability to track the football makes him a serious weapon in the NFL. Mitch Trubisky is going to want to have this kind of impact player, and he may even be able to get on the field with Tarik Cohen. Whyte is another player who made serious noise this weekend.
