The Chicago Bears are getting together for OTAs this week. What are five things Bears fans must keep an eye on

The first set of offseason training takes place this week when the Chicago Bears host their first 90-man offseason mini-camp. For the most part, this will be the same roster that they take into training camp, and these sessions are a foundation to set expectations for the big camp coming.

It also presents a great chance for rookies and veterans to strap on the pads and work with each other for the first time.

While not much will be revealed, it will be a guiding path into what the season will present. With that in mind, what are five things that Bear fans will need to keep their eyes on?

5. David Montgomery workload

While David Montgomery is a. third-round pick, he is going to be treated as the Chicago Bears first rounder. Especially considering he is the piece that the Bears replace from fan-favorite Jordan Howard. He is considered a player who will take the offense to a higher level, and will get attention?

Reports out. of rookie camp were that Montgomery handled himself like a first round pick. He was the most advanced player, and the player ready to step in with the big boys.

Now, he gets to jump into a huddle with Mitch Trubisky, Cody Whitehair and the gang. How much of the playbook does he have down? How often are the Bears mixing him in with the starters? Will he line up with Tarik Cohen and Mike Davis? We will not get all of these answers, but we will get a heads up on the direction we are heading.
