Entering the 2019 NFL season, the Chicago Bears will be celebrating their 100-year anniversary. As one of the oldest franchises in the league, the Bears have hinted to the public that there will be a uniform change for the upcoming year, and that it would be unveiled on June 7 at the Bears100 Celebration Weekend event.

Unfortunately, with today’s high usage of social media, the uniforms that Chicago are planning to don at some point in 2019 have been leaked. Thanks to a tweet by Paul Lukas (@UniWatch), a glimpse of the throwback unis have been shown for all to see.

This jersey seems to be from the Bears’ 1936 season. There is no official word of this being true, but I have a good feeling that this may be something that could be seen in one of the many primetime games Chicago has on their schedule for the 2019 season.

It would be great to see these uniforms worn for the first game of the season, which will be against the rival Green Bay Packers at Soldier Field. This contest will be on a Thursday night, and is the first game of the 2019 season. If Green Bay decides to bust out a throwback of their own, then this could be a perfect way to pay homage to both of the franchises’ decorated pasts.
