How would you rank the Chicago Bears roster heading into 2019?

With the long wait from the offseason workouts to training camp, there is very little action that will be going on with the Chicago Bears 90-man roster. That means it is a good chance to look back at the roster and reflect on where they stand.

By ranking the roster it is a good chance to look at camp battles, and roster standing head into 2019. This ranking will look only into 2019 value. It will weigh their value, skill, and potential to impact the team next season. This post will start at number 65.

65. Tyler Bray, QB

Last year ranking: 64

To be completely honest I made these rankings without looking at least years version. However, when looking at last years ranks after the fact it was funny to note that Bray dropped one spot from 64 last year to 65.

That sums up what Bray means to the roster. Last year he was released and was not signed until Mitch Trubisky got hurt. The Bears brought him back without issue, and he obviously is back in camp again.

Bray is the perfect number three quarterback. He is essentially a quarterbacks coach who can take snaps in emergency scenarios. Bray knows the playbook and has been with Matt Nagy his entire career.

However, he is not imposing to Mitch Trubisky or even Chase Daniel, so the group can work together towards a common goal. Bray will never see his value much higher than it has been these past two seasons, and he seems to be comfortable with that. Do not be surprised if his playing career ends with a coaching job.
