64. Marquez Tucker, OL

Marquez Tucker is an offensive lineman from Southern Illinois. Tucker finds his value where he stands out due to his ability to play both guard and tackle.

Tucker is from a smaller school and is a bit undersized. However, his movement skills at his size are what have the Bears intrigued. Some draft prognosticators saw the small school player getting drafted, and when he did not, Tucker added to what has become a talented group of UDFA rookie offensive lineman.

The movement skills and experience of Tucker give him a shot at being a swing tackle who slide into guard in a pinch. This is key to helping him earn a roster spot. With Bradley Sowell moving from the line to tight end, a swing tackle spot did open up.

While Tucker is not first in line for the spot, he has as good of a shot as any of the offensive lineman on the back end of the roster. Look for Tucker to compete for a job, or a practice squad spot this summer.
