How would you rank the Chicago Bears 90-man roster in 2019?

The Chicago Bears have wrapped up their offseason and workouts and are moving onto training camp in late July. In the meantime, there is usually little news to report on and minimal roster moves to be made.

With that in mind, it is a good chance to look back at the 2019 roster. This series will do just that by ranking the top 90 players on the Chicago Bears entering 2019.

The ranking will reflect 2019 only and will look into their talent, value to the roster and potential to impact the team. Today, we look at 55-51.

55. Ryan Nall

Last Year Ranking: 57

“The wrecking Nall” moves up two spots from last season after sticking onto the practice squad. Nall sticking on the roster and having the versatility to play multiple positions has him right on the edge of a roster spot entering training camp.

However, there seemed to be more hype surrounding Nall last year than this year. Since last year the team added Mike Davis, David Montgomery, and Kerrith Whyte. Sure, they lost Benny Cunningham and Jordan Howard, but with Cordarelle Patterson expected to be used in a variety of ways, and Tarik Cohen ready for a bigger workload,  the backfield is more crowded than last year without counting Nall.

Nall struggled to beat out Taquan Mizzell last year, and Mizzell had to switch positions. Still, Michael Burton was also on the roster last year, so there is no full back of any sorts. Could Nall make the roster as a fullback?

It certainly is possible but at the same time, he is more likely destined to year two on the practice squad.
